As long as it doesn't leave ring-shaped indentations in your palm, I'm ok with it. My last two MINI's I swapped out the stock shift **** for the JCW. SOOOO much more comfy pushing, pulling, and just resting waiting for the next gear slam. But that one doesn't look too bad at all.
Looks baaaaaaddddd! I am really starting to love everything about the F56 more and more, but still mad about the speedometer(it should have an option at least).
yuck! I luv my GP2 shifter and wouldnt want anything else. It literally fits like a ball and socket joint with my hand, so comfortable and makes shifting a joy! Looks great too....this thing in the picture.......I'd rip it out and chuck it in a lake!

Do you think you could get it to skip across the lake a few times before it sank? ha ha

The speedo is what made it a deal breaker for me... But non the less I am very curious to see one in person..lol..
I'll reserve judgment until I see one in person. My first MINI was an '06 R50 Checkmate with the Chrono Pack, so it didn't have a speedo in the center either, and I was fine with it. I'm still fascinated by the fact that the engine start/stop button is now a large toggle in the middle of the bank. Rather interesting.
